I work as Operations & Quality Manager at a small UK aerospace manufacturer, where I wear most of the hats — quality systems, IT infrastructure, supply chain compliance, business development, and anything else that needs doing on a given day.

My current focus is leading the company's certification journey through AS9100D / EN9100, Cyber Essentials, and JOSCAR supplier qualification — while keeping the day-to-day running smoothly. I write here to share what I'm learning, both for my own clarity and in the hope it's useful to others navigating the same terrain.

Outside the day job, I run Parola Development — a small IT consultancy helping other UK SMEs with managed IT, Microsoft 365, and cyber security. Cyber Essentials implementation is a particular focus there.
